Do you all have any special diets?
What is your favourite Healthy Food(s)?
What supplements do you take ? (protein, amino's etc)
What advice would you give our readers on exercising?
Thank you for your time.
I have been active since the age of 4 in dance so this is always been a part of my life I started working out in college for fear of gaining the freshman 15 and never looked back. After college I wanted to continue in my adult years with my love of dancing and being on stage so I entered a fitness competition.
Weights, arms and shoulders and plyometrics/body weight workouts. As many as possible (special training methods), I always try to challenge my body by doing new things.
Weights at least 5 days, cardio can be 1-4x per week
I teach cardio kickboxing not really martial arts but close to it.
No special diets, I don’t believe in them. I eat clean 95% of the time, hence my easy cardio schedule.
I believe in eating clean for life and enjoying the “bad” stuff on rare occasions.
Ezekial bread with coconut oil and scrambled eggs & I love rice cakes and almond or pecan butter,
if I don’t have an upcoming shoot or competition I’ll add in some raw chocolate coconut spread, yummy!
Honestly, too long to list. I take VPX Zero Carb protein daily post-workout. I take about 14 supplements
daily, vitamins, minerals, BCAAs, probiotics, Cod Liver Oil and such. I used to take about 30 but
now that I am in better health I don’t need a lot of them.
1 -Doing something is better than nothing.
2 -Don’t sacrifice form by adding too much weight, FORM is everything!!!
3 -As I am getting older, I train smarter not harder and I also eat right which makes it more
about maintenance which is key.
