Thank you for your time.

I have had a strong athletic desire for as long as I can remember, growing up I played football,

wrestled, ran track (100m, 200m, 300m Hurdles, 400m), and played rugby. I excelled at all of them,

but never really to the point where I was going to be competitive at the top of the collegiate ranks, so

after a few years of college I decided to start hitting the gym to fill that void which the absence of an organized sport provided me. Just a couple of years into my gym going, I started getting suggestions from other gym rats to compete in a bodybuilding show. In all honesty, I had zero interest in taking part in this. Eventually however, a good friend of mine decided to compete, and I said that I would prep with him, he did very well at his show, placing top 5 in every class he entered. Two weeks later I entered my first show and won the overall novice division. That was the hook that captivated me. That show was in 2004, and 3 years later I ended up winning my Pro Card with the WNBF.

I love squats, deadlifts, decline DB bench presses, and DB Side Laterals.

I tend to alternative my training style from week to week. Heavy with low reps on week one, and moderate weight with high reps and brain popping intensity on week two. I love both styles!!

I try to keep my time in the gym to no more that 1-1.5 hours, and no more than 4-5 times a week. Anything

more than that, and I am risking an overtraining situation, potential injury, and possible muscle loss.

Years ago I studied Tae Kwon Do, but never really stuck with it all that long. I did however study

Aikido as well. The thing I like the most about that art is the philosophy that accompanies it.

For me it has always had a very strong philosophical and almost spiritual portion to it.

There is also zero striking in it. Aikido is a very peaceful, yet extremely powerful,

applicable and elegant martial art.

I work with nutritional expert Dr. Joe Klemczewski. As such, my diets are very dynamic. I am able to

eat all of the things that want to while prepping for a show, I guess it helps that I dont really crave

too much junk food. Joe really helps to make the contest prep process very manageable, while

getting me more shreaded with more muscle than I ever thought I could.

Sweet Potato, Salads, oatmeal with chocolate protein powder and strawberrys, steak, shrimp

The Diet Doc Chocolate Protein Blend, ON BCAA's, ON Creatine, Fish Oil

Honestly, the most important this to keep in mind while training, is to be safe, do your research,

the guy next to you in the gym who LOOKS like he knows what he is doing may not, and if you just

copy him, you could regret it later. Be wary of all the mis-information out there, it is boundless!!

The next thing, once you have you safety in check (form, weight, etc...) is intensity and physiology,

learn to train intensely and smart, again, dont just copy someone else, they may not have a clue!
