I have an extra one, August 10, 2005- the day fitness became an important part of my life. I got tired of constant yo-yo dieting and unhappiness with my weight so I decided to take charge. I picked up a fitness magazine at a local store and gave the workout routine and diet a try, I got hooked!! From then on, life got better and the rest became history.
I discovered that fitness could change my life forever. I started working out, eating healthy and in the process I started seeing changes in my body that I thought were not even possible, hence leaving passionate about fitness...

Thank you for your time!
Back in August 2005 after having my son, I had severe post partum depression. Not only did I gain 75 lbs
but I was seriously unhappy with my life. I got tired of it and decided to just DO the one thing I always wanted.
I wanted to become fit, healthy, and happy. I started reading fitness magazines and following their diet &
workout plans. I became obsessed with fitness. I got into the best shape of my life and I was finally the fit chick
that I always wanted to be! I loved it and decided that I would live my life that way forever.
I love exercises that give me the pump! Any exercise that I can turn into a drop set or a negative is my favorite.
I love burning out my muscles until I can no longer lift my arms or walk on my legs.
I train when I want to. Sometimes 3 times per week, sometimes 7. It is hard to tell. I take a day off when I feel I need it.
My workout routine cannot be defined. My workouts are spontaneous. It changes as often as my mind does-constantly! Sometimes I do 1 body part per day, sometimes I do full body workouts, and sometimes I ditch the weights and go cardio all week.
I have never had any martial arts training but I would love to learn. I do a lot of kickboxing training with my clients using it for their cardio workouts. I think it is a fun way of burning calories while also taking out aggression.
I eat whatever I want as long as it is healthy. I love food so I love to eat often. If I am hungry in 1.5 hours then I eat! Sometimes I eat 8-9 times per day especially when I am training for a show.
I love anything with peanut butter and granola. I put granola in my cereal, oatmeal, farina, and greek yogurt.
I eat peanut butter whenever I crave anything unhealthy. Once I get a taste of that smooth, thick, and
nutty peanut butter I forget that junk food even exists. My favorite protein is salmon. Oh so good!
I stay away from supplements during the off season except for protein shakes and aminos. When I start to get
a bit of energy/strength deprived during competition season, I start adding creatine for strength and glutamine
for recovery. I also take a raw multivitamin by Vitamin Code along with fish oils, flaxseed, and clas. I have
used fat burners in the past but I no longer need them nor want them. I have trained my body to survive on a
healthy diet filled with all the nutrients that it needs.
For motivation, I believe that if you are planning on keeping a healthy and fit lifestyle you should read A LOT.
I find magazines, books, and online articles really inspiring. When I get into a slump I just go to the store and
pick up a magazine full of pictures of fit women and inspiring articles.
I started my own personal training business-I.M Personal Training- Specialty Training for Women.
