Dan Hill

Germany's most sucessful junior Bodybuilder ever & IFBB Pro...

Bio:

I was born as a single child of my parents Rosemarie and Wolfgang on february 21 in the year 1986.

I joined a local gym at the age of 14 just in order to loose some bodyfat.

Somehow there was a rapid change in my mind and from one day to another all my

goals became different. I just wanted to have muscles from that moment.

I loved the heavy weighttraining and I enjoyed seeing the first small results.

I won my first competitions in 2004 and from this day I knew that I will stay in this sport for a long time.

Three years in a row I won the German Junior Nationals Overall title followed by

the IFBB Junior World Championship in the 2007.

After these successful years, I became Germany's most sucessful junior Bodybuilder ever and being only 21 years old, the IFBB handed out my Pro licence.

Currently I am getting ready for my first Pro show, which will be the Phoenix Pro in February 2010.

Thank you for your time.

When I was 14 years old and realized that I was a bit chubby, I wanted to loose some weigth, just in order to look

like all the other teenagers. I started doing hours of cardio training and after becoming really skinny within a few months some bigger guys of my first

gym started to train with me. I just enjoyed the heavy training and became somehow addicted to it.

I love heavy exercises like Squats or Deadlifts, where I can push my body to the limit.

I am training some kind of HIT and Volume mixture. Mostly doing only 6 reps with heavy weights but attacking

every muscle group with many different excercises.

I train almost every day. In the offseason I force myself to have one or two free days every week,

depending how I am feeling.

During the diet I have no break at all. Even on my rest-day when I take a break from training with

weights, I still do some cardio and abs.

On the other days I even train twice on many days.

Monday morning: Cardio 45min + Abs

Monday evening: Chest + Streching

Tuesday morning: Deadlifts + Traps + Cardio

Tuesday evening: Shoulders + Calves

Wednesday morning: Biceps + Cardio

Wednesday evening: Triceps + Abs

Thursday morning: Cardio + Calves

Thursday evening: Back + Streching

Friday morning: Cardio + Abs

Friday evening: Off

Saturday morning: Quadriceps

Saturday evening: Hamstrings + calves

Sunday morning: Cardio + Streching

Sunday evening: Arms (light workout)

I love watching it and I love the spirituality behind many martial arts, but actually I never did them myself

I am staying on high carbs, moderate proteins and high fats all year around.

I always eat clean and maybe once a week in Offseason I allow myself a cheat meal.

Basicly I believe in high carb diets and the secret to reduce the bodyfat is simply to burn the

calories by training hard and adding some cardio

I love Sweet potatoes and a good steak with onions.

I am also totally into Sushi, but I consider to be my cheat meals already,

as I am eating at Sushi buffets usually.

Proteins I only take while travelling, especially when I am not able to get real food.

I prefer to consume all my nutrients with natural foods.

Additionally I take some Multivitamins, Magnesium, Chrome, Zinc, Beta-Alanin, Glutamin,

Arginin and BCAAs. Glutamin is in my eyes the most important Supplement at all.

Patience is everything in this sport. Nothing comes easy, but if you keep focusing on the good feeling you get,

when transforming your body into the perfect product of your dreams, you will reach your goals

faster than you might believe. Enjoy the journey and feel the positive energy with every day.
