Thank you for your time.

As a child my passion was gymnastic and won athlete of the yr.in my final year in public school as a gymnist. Reaching high school I was not able to join the gymnastic club due to family issues. Therefore I had no choice but to forego my dream to maybe be a great gymnist! When I was old enough I finally joined a gym with a friend.and was approach by a trainer recommending I compete in my 1st bodybuilding competition. I was amazed with placing 1st in my class. Wow it was the greatest feeling - something I lost as a child growing up - yearning to be a gymnist!!!

I never turned back. In the 1980's I began competing as a bodybuilder in the light weight class, and did very well; earning first and second placings up to 1990 National Level. The challenge as a bodybuilder was incredible but there are disadvantages to this type of sport. As a competitive bodybuilder I was muscular but very feminine. I found competing at the national level tough and as a bodybuilder muscularity and size was a great factor in winning. Some of the components of the bodybuilding culture did not seem like good choices for me. I had no interest in becoming extremely muscular and losing my femininity. Leaving the competitive bodybulding scene in 1990 was one of the best decisions I've ever made. As a Canadian Naitonal Figure Athlete - I am muscular but still feel very pretty and feminine as a women should feel. Don't get me wrong I have a lot of respect for all those great bodybuilding athletes. They have taught me great knowledge and discipline which has made me who I am today - a confident and highly motivated individual!!!!

My favourite exercise is training my back Back is such a large muscle group and the variety of exercises is incredible! I love the way my back looks when down to a low bodyfat.

I train 5 days a week off season which includes training with weights and cardio all five days. For competition I train with weights 5 days and cardio 7 days a week. It takes me approx 16 wks to prepare for a show.

Well I train only with weights 5 days a week and take two days off training for recovery! I only spend 45 minutes max in the gym with my weight training! I change my program everyweek - never the same! You need variety with training to create change in your physique and that also includes variety in your diet!

Yes I've tried martial arts in the pass and enjoy it tremendously. Love the discipline but with my training schedule it was dificult to keep up with both sports. But when I retire from competition I may return to martial arts..........But Yoga is my new path........it's tough but relaxing!

I eat clean 5 days a week off season and enjoy my weekends in moderation. Preparing for a show I eat super clean 7 days a week. I like to be stage ready 4 weeks out to a show and then I can add some cheat days every week........Just love my cheat days...........lol Eating Clean is an art form and organization is key. Overall I eat 9 meals a day - I try to start at 6 am right through the evening..........

Well my favourite healthy food off season and preparing for a show is the following litttle recipe: 60 grams of plain uncooked oatmeal; 6-8 pasterized egg whites; 40 grams of unsweetened apple sauce; pumpkin spice and cinnamon. Now you mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Just stir and eat raw...it's quick and I am out the door.......Yum yum...

Whey Protein and Glutaferm (L-Glutamine). I take Juice PLUS (Garden Blend); Juice Plus Orchard Blend; Juice Plus Vineyard Blend every day and my essential oils.

As a Registered Nurse/Wellness Consultant it is my duty to help everyone understand that exercise and eating healthy should be a lifestyle. CONISTENCY is the key. Paying yourself 1st with a healthly lifestyle will increase confidence and determination to be the best you can be with all aspects in your life.

Fitness is lifestyle for me not work at all . I train with Passion and train from the HEART! I am an artist and my physique is my creation. I'm a sculpture that needs to be defined down to perfection. My work of ART created from the HEART! My masterpiece!! "Like Fine Wine..........We Should Get Better With Age"
